I kind of miss that guy. He left them in good shape though. 

 

I really surprised no WC people have not gotten on here saying how their going to blow out the Hawks.

When the QB at WC hits his stride this team will be a bit dangerous I believe. I expect them to be pretty dang good at the end of the year.

Two weeks ago, I would have said that. Right now, I'm not so sure. Hopefully our talent can prevail.

When coacht first started, I thought it was an excellent way to promote HS sports. It still is....when used in the correct way. Wilson Central is an excellent school with an outstanding administration. they have an excellent coaching staff in football. All my grandkids did/will attend this school; I even helped in football on 3 occasions. IMO, this is an ugly post (not funny). I wished folks would not throw rocks like this...........but it has become a national pasttime in all phases of our lives............it seems!

I am going to support WC and their teams 100%, and will sign my name to this response (will you sign your post?)

Some people are very sensitive to the most pointless things. At the end of the day this is a public forum where everyone has equal rights to post whatever they want as long as it follows guidelines. That trash post wasn't even close to the worst post I've seen on here. I guess for some people it's that time of the month. Or maybe just the irate attitude due to being 0-3.

No it's okay, let Central be the guys to be content with 0-3. Football isn't for the faint of heart. There are winners, and there are losers. As of now, they are losing. Change that fast and people will post more uplifting things about WC.

It isn't always that cut and dry with school athletics.

You have some situations where even great coaches have a hard time winning. And you have some situations where you can pull anybody with some fraction of football knowledge and field a winning football team. The same goes with other sports as well.

I grew up in and around one of the most successful football programs in the state and now work around one of the least successful football programs in the state. The differences are too numerous to list and almost all of them are off the field.

When a coach like Elrod speaks or types you should pay attention. He is a winner and a great model of how to coach. He was simply giving his opinion on the post. No need to stoop to a low level with the sensitivity comment.
