Exactly what I said above," sycamore defense kept it from being worse". With the amount of turnovers it should have been worse, regardless if they completed the 2 passes or not.

If sycamore turned the ball over 6 times and only gave up 14 points to me that sounds like their defense must be extremely good. If a team has 6 turnovers. I would expect the score to be 42-0

Agree with above posters. This game should have been much worse. Cheatham dominated time of possession, and turnovers. Cubs should have hung 40 plus on them but a combination of penalties,turnovers and sycamore playing some stout defense kept this respectable. I didn't have a dog in the fight but never felt the ending was in doubt.

I can't remember if the war eagles we're ever inside the 20 on offense? Could have been.

I would guess the cubs had more penalty yards than sycamore had offensive yards.

I would say that if we are using the coulda, shoulda, woulda then the War Eagles shoulda had 2-3 TD's. That would make it a 14-14 or 14-21 game. Not Sycamores best showing I agree, but not too impressed with the cubs either.

I believe both teams had several turnovers. One of the wide open passes would not have been a touchdown. Just a long completion. I don't think Sycamore could've scored from the 10 yard line. They just couldn't slow down the Cubs line. I don't have the stats but Cheatham most likely doubled Sycamore offensively.

From what I heard. Cheatham only had one good drive all game. And that was the final td drive.
