macdaddy
I thought that Cordova set the 4x400 relay last year at the state meet! I could be wrong! Anyways the pearson boy is fast! I hope he breaks the record! It will be interesting to see how he runs when pushed! [Edited by macdaddy on 3-28-03 11:17A]
postup00
Yea well that is real well for a freshman. In the future he will be dangerous. What were the rest of the pack like? Did he just blow them away or was it a close race. He won, yeah thats great but what was the margin?
peacemaker
Second and Third Places went to Walker Valleys Senior Lewis Sharpe-(22.7) who will be signing with UTK soon- and Lamar Thompson(junior) also of BCHS- who was in a different heat(22.9) It was hand held and the wind was at their back- but nonetheless- it was a GREAT RACE and a great day for a FRESHMAN to win over such high calibar athletes! Lamar Thompson also just long jumped 22'3" and broke BCHS's record- and Elmore jumped 21'3" Thanx Postup00 for the nice words!
Senior2Shine03
Hey all! Yes indeed Elmore is pretty quick to be a freshman(and hes not even black...lol) He is an excellent athlete and at the rate he is goin he will be able to go to any college he wants. He has the skill plus the desire along with great coaching. The sky's he limit for Ole' Gray, but as long as he is running against me, he is gonan haveto work real hard to win it. I am a strong believer in competition and the better competition he gets will only make him better in the long run. -L. Sharp
nununu
Lamarcus Coker of Antioch high school in Nashville ran a 10.3 100m at a meet at Maplewood this week. If time is official, we have a new state record holder. Also, watch for Antioch's 4x100 team, they can fly.
KGP3428
The time is not official. No FAT, no wind gauge, etc. [Edited by KGP3428 on 4-2-03 10:26P]
