I think Betsy will see a much improved THS team . If, and only if, the team the showed up against Mo East shows up vs the team that got throttled by Boone. Elizabeth Tom should still win but if they let this THS team hang around late we may have another close game like two years ago.

I read in the paper Betsy is throwing for a TD with 18 seconds left in the game when they are up by 19?  Is that right or were they throwing deep before the half? 1 is fine the other..... eh that's pretty sorry.

Betsy was in "take-a-knee 3 times" against us and ran in a TD.    But at the time I was walking out and did not see the play, so without confirmation I don't want to say they were just trying to run up the score.   But you have to admit that is eerie how hit happened against THS too

So what happen after the game? Which coach started

I don't know all the details but I've seen kids at other schools get a chance to play late in the game and they want to score .Sometimes even if they are supposed to  take a knee.

I can see that happening but it wasn't just other players in there Besty had there starters in trying to run the score up at the end of game. Take a knee to end the game good example Bame up 59-0 yesterday against Vandy they at the goal line could've easily made it 66-0 at end the game but they took 3 kneel down to end the game

I mean, it seems like it is pretty easy to see the TH coach thought it was pretty classless to have most of your starters in and you are throwing bombs trying to score one more TD.  If this was a first half type of mentality, I could defend it, but when it is take three knees and call it a day (as you are up by 19) and you refuse to do that, that's pretty classless.

I have never seen coach Witten purposely up a score. Its was made into a bigger deal than it actually was. Besides I guess tn high is tired of getting beat by a bigger school. They had a lot of home cooking from the referees and it still didn't help.
