I do not see why people is making a big deal out of this. Trash talk is what gets us young kids fired up. I talk about Waynesboro, and Collinwood but I have a lot of respect for both teams and I really wish them well. We are just trying to make a little fun out of this. So just chill out, it aint like we are fighting.

I personally don't see a problem with the trash talk, i mean, what does it honestly hurt? I'm thinkin that coacht knew when he put this board up that there would be trash talk. So y should n e one care? As long as its good clean trash talk, it becomes a form of good clean innocent fun, no one get hurt, even though some ppl get mad, but who cares, its all good. Just keep it clean boys and keep up da work. Besides if u eliminate the trash talk u eliminate 75% of the message board. And then it would be boring. Peace!

Rastabob,

Chill. That comes not from a student unles you count being a student 30 years ago as being a student. Razzing the opponent has always gone on. I may not always like what is being said, but then my parents did not always like the way my friends and I expressed ourselves either. You where young once, although youth is a state of mind and you may never have been young.

My pet peeve is supposedly educated people that use "there" for "their" and other such like misuses of the English language. It is my assumption that the coaches are also teachers and therefore college graduates. I understand some misspelled words and so forth occasionally because of typing errors and so forth. When the same mistake is made time after time I must assume the person is not smart enough to know ("no" by those of which I am speaking) better. Makes me somtimes wonder what kinds of people are teaching my children when coaches use English I would expect out of a high school dropout.

    • Yeah, I read about their spring blue/gray scrimmage after I typed that.   Sounds like a real mess over there.  I just hate that for 'em.  Haw
    • Maybe OR will be, but Farragut, nah, I don’t think anybody realizes how much of a bad situation that program is in currently. I’m sure they will build out of it, but the next 3 to 4 years are going to be a long climb up.
    • Thats one of the problems of having an 8-team region. A team could make it in any other region, but the numbers work against them in this one.

    • MTD (Stanley Black and Decker) and UTM are the only thing keeping Westview's numbers up. Are school enrollments dropping in those listed schools too or just athletic rosters?
