#8 would definitely be the best player on the field

Well I guess we can disagree, but the stats speak for them self, QB has like 30 total TD's this year, and the linebacker is a stud offenses have been trying to run to the opposite side all year and he is still making plays in the backfield, and I've been told by people who have seen all tree play.

Dont know much about the linebacker, i am sure he is good but i doubt he could catch 8.  The Qb is good , especially for a sophomore no doubt.  Who is the linebacker getting looks from?   Oh yeah, and Have you asked your coach about requesting a different region so he can dodge the Tyners and Marions this year?

I don't know who's looking a the linebacker he's was 5A region defensive player of the year last year at Rhea Co and I don't know the young man, but I'm sure he is being looked at.

Marion and Meigs have a lot of football to be played before we can even talk about this game if it happens but I would like to see Marion and Meigs make it that far.

and I've had 8# is really really good.

Got to blame it on the refs!!!! Welcome to what we have to put up with Week after week! Reminds me of week 4 and how bad the refs were in that game.

How many times we got to beat you before you realize your NOT very good! Get over it! Wasn't blaming the refs, they were bad for both teams! We got outplayed!

    • there will be a couple of teams, that could make some noise
    • Dyersburg may win back to back to back championships. They are going to be hands down the best 3A team. Plus their District/region/sectionals are not very good. They basically just have to make it to region out of a 5 team district that has a few decent teams. South Gibson will be okay but they graduate their best player and there is nobody in the region 7 or region 8 who is going to compete with them.
    • I remember very well watching things change in the late 80's and yes it's all schools. Most people that are in charge today have any idea because they were raised and taught under this social experiment so they don't have a clue. Anyone that does see the truth for what it is usually try and hide it by blending in so that the School Gestapo doesn't round them up and take them to the Fuhrer ( kindly putting it ). Yes it is all schools not just Maryville. This train ride is not headed in a good direction and if the public had seen a movie of what's happening now back in 1980 everyone would have been headed home afterwards to change underware.
    • Hoping to make the playoffs.
    • You are so correct!  It’s really 99.9% of academia want to change to way that education is not only taught but the way it is viewed.  The pendulum has definitely swung as far to the left as possible and eventually will swing to the right much too far.  I have always  said that politics and one’s personal religious views need to stay out of education,  but for the last 40 years education has been running full throttle to what we have today.  If the social experiment that we are currently experiencing continues it is only a matter of time before the public school system in the USA completely collapses and all kids attend private schools or even worse don’t go to school.
