Watertown @ Smith County

It wasn't just the kicking game. Was it twice inside the 10 and didnt score? And the two big plays given up.

Hackett Defense played great ! Offense not so good. But a scrappy young team !

Never would have thought before the season that h20town  would be 2-0 against both smith county high schools. A good year for a young team.

Watertown had 149 yards on those 2 touchdowns and 63 yards the rest of the game.

Smith County had 16 first downs and Watertown had 3.

Was the defense that good for Watertown or did Smith County choke?

Watertown's defense stepped up when needed, but SC helped them out.

They made a lot of mistakes they shouldn't have.

Croz6110 I would have figured you would have went to the Gville game instead of SC ? Watertown’s D did step up last night Big. And SC did make mistakes and Watertown matched SC mistakes and more on offense. SC didn’t give Watertown the game. Same Watertown team on the field last night that was on the field at Jackson County last week 31to14 ! Watertown’s offense was non existent after the 1st quarter.

I had read somewhere that Hacketts Defense would be the difference in this game.  But, just can't remember where?

Honestly Roller,

They real predictable in what they do......

Sometimes stats do not tell the whole story....but in this case they do!
