Rhea beat a potent Walker Valley offense 35-14, beat McMinn County in OT 21-20, Lenoir City 21-14 (we were still running the wing-gun during that game), beat Marion County 34-10, and Soddy 38-35, which I would probably agree was the best win. We also played a tough defensive battle with Bradley Central, but our offense (once again, still in the wing-gun period) couldn't help any and they won 21-7. Cane Ridge was closer than the score shows. I believe in this Rhea County team. To hold Walker Valley, a team that scored 30+ on almost everyone behind a historic performance from Kolten Gibson and a stud in Zeke Westfield, to 14 points is impressive, as well as the showing they had against a solid Bradley Central offense in which they held the Bears to 7 points in the first three quarters. I like Rhea to take this one, but it won't be easy.

I love hard nosed football and thats what both these teams are. They fight, fight, fight until they cant fight no more. Watched West play a defensive slug fest against Harding Academy at the beginning

Didn’t think I would agree too much since I seen alot of your posts about Butch and the Wildcats in OR thread. But I agreee on the West evolution. The QB can scoot around fast like lightnin. I think this is high scoring imo. Love Muschamp also. :motorbike:

i like the positive werds you have for PP, but west is a good ball club coache by lamar & co. i like there chances if they can get past alcoa

      Im asking everyone to keep roy whited and his family in your prayers. Coach whited won back to back state championships at white county in 98-99. He is very well liked and respected in this area. For those of you that dont know he went missing 3 days ago. No one knows where he is. His truck was found in a rural part of the county. Thanks again. We are all very concerned.

      West would be a good team to get behind if they can pull it off again like last year. That championship game last year was awesome.

      I say that because he stepped out of a MUCH better situation on his own than he would see at least his first 3 years at DCA and it would take at least that much to bring him back to coaching. There are other fish in the sea, but again money talks. Need to fix the girls hoops too. Now I'll try again. Who has Pierce locked in for his staff? Hearing a McGavock man but not the Iceman.

      I’ve heard mostly good things from the gridiron. Lots of optimism. It sounds like the portal has mostly helped, though there are a few expected defections. Comeback year!

      Rudesell 1 year at Crockett. Coach Tate 2 weeks a Bradford. South Gibson supposedly going with jcs middle school coach. Which isn’t who I thought would get it, I know the top 2 was between him and Obion girls head coach.
