Seriously, who would you say was your toughest opponent to date that you have played and why? ( trying to get thread back to fb) thank you Mav fans on your school's record setting season.

I’d say Grainger coach!

I really think the Mavericks hardest opponent was Carter; first game of the year and jitters much like a first game in the playoffs. Carter had us at halftime but we made the adjustments they did not score again and we scored over 55 shutting them out in the second half. I think our biggest gift is that we have the talent and just as important the staff can make good adjustments.

Not that familiar with Carter, but I saw Granger vs the Devils a few weeks ago, I'm a West Tennessean, I liked the Granger back, he had about 83 yards in about 27 carries. They were fairly week upfront with slow feet

Yeah and I am a firm believer if you know you can handle a team firmly offensively and hold your own on defense then why show everything in a first round playoff game! Grainger is 7-3 so they did something right to get here of course 7-4 now.

Defense is weak.

I really believe the defense tonight does not justify who they really are; I might be wrong, but I do think they were looking ahead to Betsy. Whatever the case the Mavericks will not lay down against Betsy only because they want there hands on Greeneville for Revenge!

i like what the announcer for Grainger said " Grainger has thrown everything at the Mavericks and the kitchen sink" he also commented on the trick plays used.
