That's the way it works, it alternates every year, even regions one year,  odd the next. So one team doesn't have it every year.

It made more sense when regions were more concrete and didn't change as rapidly.  It's hard to say "South Doyle/Central gets to host this year because Farragut host last year" when Farragut isn't even in 5A anymore.

right. but years ago it used to be whoever had the better record host and thats how it should be. an 8-5 team shouldnt host an 11-2 team in the 4th round.

Impressive defensive performance by Central in the second half. The Bobcats took advantage of some terrible SD punts in the second half as well. Hard to believe that Central nearly missed the playoffs. Rough matchup at Catholic next week.
