Looking at the combined record of each bracket, White County scheduled themselves to get into the finals. Bottom half seems to look like a lot tougher bracket.

No doubt about that. White County put all the good teams in the bottom bracket for a reason. I mean if it’s your tournament why wouldn’t you?  They have ensured themselves a spot in the finals lol

Exactly!  I am sure they are trying to maximize the gate.  If the home team is not playing in the finals, then the amount of money made at the gate will be a fraction of what it is if White is in the finals.

The only issue I would have as a coach is putting one of my district teams in the same bracket as me.

I watched some great games today. Thought Clay County girls played very good against a much bigger AAA Rhea County team.  #2 and #15 for Rhea County are pretty darn good players.

Clarkrange started  slow but beat Father Ryan by 20.  Clarkrange will be a force in Class A this year.

Looks like White County will get the winner of Rhea County and Clarkrange.

    • While I appreciate being credited with multiple accounts, I have to say that is not true. Will you please report back to your people that I am not someone who provides sharp, witty banter, but rather someone who is putting the shoe on the other foot for some people that have been repeatedly bashing others here and in real life for the past few years? Everything that I have stated has been backed by factual evidence or public record, so no need to be sharp and witty.
    • Yes this process is moving slower than I would have expected
    • also was told coady auston applied, he served as defensive coordinator for greenfield under don pitt several years ago before going to Obion county
    • TSSAA restrictions for hiring non-faculty coaches have been removed for over a year at this point. In the past a non-faculty person had to be "grandfathered" by being an assistant coach for five years, being fingerprinted, and having a background check run per TSSAA rules... since those were rescinded, the board of directors for the school district are responsible for any/all restrictions on hiring non-faculty personnel. I guess what I'm saying to you is that if you really wanted what you posted, it's already possible as long as your local BOE will allow for it.
    • stop it, rlh. you’re gonna get me all misty eyed and sentimental.    i see seven fairly regularly. ….but slim shady, that’s like spotting bigfoot on main street. you just hope he doesn’t spot you.
