Chinadog
Let the games begin! Should be a great Region 2 AAA tournament. 2018 Class AAA East Regional Boys' Basketball Tournaments Bracket My guess is is we'll see Bearden vs Maryville in the 2AAA regional championship. Good luck to all the teams!

Norman Dale
Bearden wins 71-57. Glover is a big time player at PG, more of a lead scoring guard than a true PG- he is really good. Chinadog
Watched both games, seems like Joe was off in the second half, missed a lot until the tying shot. Not sure if they just ran out of steam or what, but was a great game. Hats off to Powell. Not a typical Bearden game, but a W. Pember was hurt, so they went small (meaning playing with only one post) - but can do that since they have some depth. Was impressed by OR's guards. Also, some really, really questionable calls - both ways. Glover is good, but is not the best defensively -gets burned and can't recover. He also likes to take it to the hole, more to get the foul and the free throws. Its like 1 on 4 or 5 a lot. He rarely dishes off. Bearden's motto is "TOGETHER" and a family and a brotherhood and that's true to some extent, but there are cracks in that foundation. I'll leave it at that. Bearden vs Powell should be a good game. I think Bearden will run on them - play speed vs size. I'm not sure Powell can keep up. I don't think that game will be close and Bearden will come out on top. That's my opinion of course.
