What does Waverly have returning back this year. They scored a lot of points last year.  Waverly will be playing Henry County. Will that be a good game?? Here is a list of games for the Jamboree:

2018 McDonald’s Football Challenge
Friday, August 10th, 2018 
Henry County High School-Paris, TN

5:30pm  Murray High vs. West Carroll
6:30pm  Martin Westview vs. Stewart Co.
7:30pm  Dresden vs. Hickman Co.
8:30pm  Waverly vs. Henry Co.
9:30pm  Milan vs. McKenzie

No kidding! But I definelty wouldnt run the same play over over. Mix it up a little. You don't have to show all you got but I believe you have to somewhat run your offense.  Anyways good luck to you g

Excited to see this match up as well. Excited that Waverly is loaded with some really talented non region competition pre season and during the season. Waverly’s region is a joke so the non region games will really be the test! Gonna be a tough schedule!

Been a minute since Waverly has come to Mustang country. Looking forward to watching y'all run on the Mustangs Majic Carpet. Two teams with great speed on carpet should be a pretty exciting game! We have nice visitors bleachers also

What is Henry County looking like?

TBH if Waverly was going to ever make it to Cookeville... this is their year. Experienced powerful veteran offense. Defense was downfall last year.. defense should be more experienced this year. So high expectations.

IMO i don’t believe anyone can stop Waverly from scoring. If anyone is going to beat Waverly... they have to out score them.

IMO i don’t believe anyone can stop Waverly from scoring. If anyone is going to beat Waverly... they have to out score them. 

I believe Henry County returns 9 starters on Defense. Our Defense should be very stout all year. Offense is pretty solid as well. Returning one of the best passing QB's we have had in several years. Our RB is very elusive and fast. O line is very solid. We have a very talented WR. It will be a great test for both teams to prepare them for the season. Waverly may be one of the most talented teams HC will face all year. And same for Waverly. I can't wait to see how both teams look.

      Why did the coach get rehired after she was let go as an assistant by the former Warren County coach and the current AD?? Is that accurate?? I am very familiar with situations like this. Suprised lawsuits haven't happend before. If the coach unfairly let the player go, I think she has a shot because it cost her a scholarship. No college is going to offer a scholarship to a player that is kicked off of the team. Not going to happen. There are bad hires like this a bunch and kids are treated unfairly by coaches that can't coach a lick and have super long ropes somehow. Amazing how some of these coaches get hired and keep their job.

      I am going to assume you are not a lawyer, and most reasonable lawyers would not say the lawsuit has a zero percent chance in court. I agree with you that a coach has the ability to dismiss anyone from a team. However, Ms. Winfree was never presented with the opportunity to present her witnesses and have them tell the coaches and administrators what they heard. A lawyer could better explain the lawsuit and the grounds to you. Before you start making wild assumptions about the lawsuit, would it be too much to ask that you do a little legal research first?       The administration took the path of backing the coach and whispering to people that the kid was a problem. The reality is that the kid was never a problem on a team or classroom. The player says she has witnessed who back her not saying the f-word.  Why did the coach make that story up and other stories? I am not Sigmund Freud and do not have an answer for the ex=-coach's behavior..

      I think they have they coach they want close to being done. I guess we will all see how this plays out. I hope the hire a good one. There are some players in the box for the next coach to work with.
