Good game. Kids played hard but just had too many self inflicted mistakes. Clinton’s offense is just not built to come from behind like they had to do tonight. On a positive note, that offense got a little something working in the second half tonight. Hopefully they will roll over for the next game. Gotta rest up during the bye week, and get ready to play the little girls up the road ;)

Tough loss, but what a great game. I feel like this team grew up tonight. I believe you can learn more from a loss than a win.

Loved the way the team battled back after being down 21-0 at the half. I was very pleased to see Coach Gaylor at the game tonight! I could tell he was still in some pain. My thoughts and prayers go out to him.

Now we have 2 weeks to get ready for AC!  Hope we take full advantage of it!

    • Did this happen? Does anyone know? Ripley has their HC job posted on the bulletin board over the weekend.
    • Coalfield definitely isn't the same team they've had the past few years. They are still the favorites to make it out of their region because of their pitching. They have 1 arm that sits low to mid 80s and 2 other arms that are mid to high 70s with good off speed stuff. If you can avoid their top 3 bats in their lineup then you have a shot to beat them. Their 4-9 hitters are average at best. Wartburg's ace was able to shut them down last week in the game Wartburg won 4-2.
    • It is the longest season. Plus, 30 games a year. No Christmas break. I would say basketball is the most time consuming.
