Atleast Murvul doesn't have to put up with the McMinn announcer this year.  "And it's another first down for the Chair-a-keeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeees"  Of course, he probably doesn't get to say it very many times when Murvul pays them a visit.

There is no School for McMinn County on Friday, I suppose that is the reason. Maybe also looking for a long weekend to recoup.

There ought to be a distance rule on Thursday night games, when there is school the next day. They would have a bigger visitor gate if it was on Friday too.

I agree to that. There really is no quick way from Maryville to Athens. I have driven that plenty of times. I would agree on a distance rule. The good thing is, this may end up being a mercy rule game so it may be over quick.
