  1. I shoulda said all that was actually more "funny" than "annoying"... Except for maybe the one where dad argues every call. I love the folks with passion. It's more annoying to see the folks that come to the game and just sit in the stands and NEVER cheer. Or give that lazy clap when our RB breaks a 75 yard TD run.
  2. When you give up 165 points in last 3 games it's hard to make a case against that point. Now, how many of those points came off turnovers and special teams could be an argument. Regardless giving up an average of 55 points regardless who you are playing is a lot. Albeit by the numbers, they improved each game. Has Copper Basin beaten a .500 or better team this season? At a glance it looks like they have benefited from a fairly easy schedule.
  3. Centrals defense is gonna need to play well and shut down the big plays, secondary will need to be disciplined play assignments. Cant get caught watching and get beat deep. Swarm the football and gang tackle, cant give up big plays by missed tackles. If Central gets behind by more than 2 scores it may spell trouble. They just aren't built to come back, not with that offense they run. If they do all this and Ledford has a big night (he should have a huge night) and take care of the football, Central may win. I
  4. If Central is at full force Friday and coming out of arguably the toughest 3 game stretch of any 3A team in the state. This game should serve as a litmus test for the chargers. Playing those tough games should have made the chargers a better football team. Winning this game could give them an emotional and moral boost they need. Drop this game, and they could possibly lose out. This game is pretty important.
  5. I always hate to hear about or see players get injured regardless what team it is. Hate to hear about your rash of injuries. Hopefully he is back on the field quickly. This game has worried us (McMinn) since it was announced, like TynerRam said, you never know how kids will respond. McMinn sleepwalked through the first half against Heritage last Friday. Coaches experimented with some different coverages and personnel but got back to business in the second half. McMinn is a little banged up also and no where near 100% especially in the backfield. Hoping for a good clean injury free game Friday.
  6. The DAD that stands by the fence yelling at "Junior" to "HIT SUMBODY!" The DAD that stands by the fence telling "junior" to "git back err" The DAD that stands by the fence yelling "DER he is! DER he is!" ...so "junior" can find the ball. The DAD that stands by the fence yelling "middle! middle! middle!" ….so "junior" can find the ball. The DAD that stands by the fence yelling "GIT HIM" …so "junior" will tackle better The DAD that stands by the fence yelling "Yawl gotta wrap up" … when "junior" misses a tackle The DAD that stands by the fence yelling "bawl bawl bawl" when it's clearly not a fumble. The DAD that stands by the fence yelling "DATS holding, are you blind?? dat's TURBLE" THE DAD THAT STANDS BY THE FENCE
  7. Oh I am sure any yards they are fortunate to get will be earned when they meet the Irish.
  8. McMinn County has a good backfield. Reggie Bush and Lendale White style, one quick guy and one power back. They compliment eachother very well.
  9. Pump your brakes there bro, don't come at me like that, you don't know me. I just said what I was told. I assure you, you don't want these problems. 1 winning season in the last 5 years and back to back winless seasons... Numbers don't lie but I like your optimism...
  10. if your young guys are quitting, isn't that a problem? not a good way to start.
