Remember this come next Saturday. TC May lose but I guarantee they have 200 yards rushing and possibly 100 passing. Last year is last year... I agree... but they had over 350 yards rushing in that game. Your skill guys are very good looking at highlights. But Friendship said sane thing, that TC couldn’t run the ball on them. Your not as good as Friendship up front. Your skill guys may be better but we shall see Friday night!

May not be as big, but I wouldn’t go as far to say that FC’s line is better. One thing is for sure though, we will see Friday night! This will definitely be a great game!

FC line is way better than yours. They have two Division One players on it.  I can guarantee your wrong on that. Now your skill guys I will have to see. Your guys are talking all kind of smack on social media. It will be great to see if they can back it up. When was last time Watertown won a championship on a serious note? I know y’all beat us I think in 2007 7-0 I think. But have y’all won a championship ? I know someone said u guys had a good team in 2016 but Forrest beat you guys I think.

Who has H20 played nobody I mean nobody so until u beat us shut up.

I think us h20 fans are asking ourself the same question is this team something special or the competition bad.

Only these kids and coaches truly know this answer ,they have been well prepared and excuted the game plans the coaches laid out. They held 2017 Mr football semifinalist Braxten Givens (2100) yards last year to less than 50 yards. 2017 Mr Football semifinalist Darius  Hylick (2300) yards last year to less than 40 yards until he broke 70 harder on h20 3rd team. TC may rush for 350 yards again this year that's why us fans look forward to seeing how. H20 does .. There is no better measuring stick in the state than travel to the creek bank and see were you measure  up next to a historic program like tc.

Trust me you have TC players attention. The price kid got the mvp of Region last year and all they have heard is how Watertown is gonna walk all over them. It may or may not happen. Your playing TC without their best player. But TC will have their best rb back this week. The difference in the first two teams you played is the line of scrimmage. Gordonsville and MJC are both down this year and have no blocking for their backs. But heck you never know until two teams meet and how they stack up. From what all the posts are saying, TC is the underdog and you guys are gonna beat TC bad. Friendship said same thing.  That’s why you play game.

TC will not run over H2O like they did Lebanon or Freindship. They better hope they can throw the ball as well. I am not making any predictions because I have not seen TC play, but we should be in for a well of a game!

Stop MJC and Gordonsville run game isn’t saying much I heard same thing last year that TC not going to run the ball against Watertown and they had over 250 yards rushing close to 300 with only throwing the ball once and Lebanon D line is better than Watertown line and TC will get their starting RB/LB back but we shall see

Tigers swat the jackets! People need to quit living in the past. 2 different teams this year. I can’t wait to hear the excuses of why TC lost. TC better throw the ball because that Tigers run defense is strong. If TC can make H2o offense,  one dimensional I like TCs chances. 34-21 Tigers

They are not scoring over 20 points on TC defense but I have question for  Watertown why don’t you’ll ever schedule FC or teams inside Wilson co it’s a honest question I have always found it strange that Wilson co schools in side Lebanon don’t play each other in non region games that much

Here we go again living in the past. How many state championships has TC won THIS Year?

No one is questioning if TC has a better football heritage than H2O. We are talking about what’s happening this year.

i have not heard any trash talk from a H2O fan, we are simply stating that this should be a competitive game.

Good question, I think the move for TC to play Lebanon was a great move, both financially and hype wise.

Ok what has happened this year? The jackets played with a 6A team  that will win 6+ games and beat a defending D-2A state champion, and while doing so has ran the ball at will for 6 quarters of the 8, all I am trying to say is H20 posters saying, "hope you can pass, you won't run like that on us". Well guess what we are going to run it on you now you may beat us im just saying we ARE going to run the football and do it very successfully. You can think as you wish but Lebanon and FC defensive line are better than yours everyday of the week and twice on Sunday. H20 does run the scheme to give us fits. I am expecting a shootout, with whoever makes least mistakes will win, and most the time turnovers happen more through the air than on the ground.

Trousdale is so good why don’t they just give them the state title? Why are they even playing little no good Watertown. Trousdale beats 6A teams ...wait TC lost to a rebuilding 6A team. TC beat Friendship...go ahead and give TC the Div 2 title also. heck they are so good give them 1A-6A state titles. I’ll let Watertown know how big and bad TC is! Just remember football is about heart and toughness...Go Purple Tigers!!!

    • Deja vu all over again, 7 yrs apart. SMDH Does anybody talk to each other?
    • OK, well, that’s because two quarterbacks can’t start. That’s football 101. The main quarterback won the starting job, so he was on varsity, and the Seymour transfer did not win the starting job. He played some varsity. He was mainly junior varsity, and he balled out when healthy, so for the starting quarterback who’s been starting varsity since his freshman year, if you have any form of proof that he’s gotten worse, somehow, whether that means stats or whatnot, please feel free to share.
    • They’ve both gotten worse. I’ve seen enough games to know that.
    • The only two transfers that Bearden has gotten that went on to play college football were a defensive back from Karnes, who transferred here way before the new coaching staff got here, and a running back from Carter, who went on to play at Maryville College. Both players received those offers while at Bearden, and both players got a diploma from Bearden High School. Therefore, they are Bearden kids, and you can’t do anything about that.   The transfer from Seymour didn’t win the job, what do you expect two quarterbacks to start at the same time? He played great on JV when he could stay healthy, and when he came in on varsity, he did great. The quarterback position is definitely going to be in good hands when the current starting quarterback leaves, but until then, they’re just going to be battling it out like every good quarterback competition does. The current starting quarterback has his flaws, and that is in the pass game, but what he doesn’t have flaws is running and scrambling, and if you go back and watch any game, which I’m sure you didn’t watch any, we used him very often, and when we needed a deep ball, we brought in the transfer from Seymour. The starting quarterback last year will be a senior this year, and the Seymour transfer will be a junior, so the Seymour transfer is definitely going to get his spotlight. He may even win the job this year. Football isn’t about who the newspaper thinks is the best kid. The best kid in the position will win the starting job, and I trust the coaching staff more than a newspaper or article to pick my starting QB.
    • I mean, we’ve only gotten two transfers that went on to play college football, one who went to UT Martin came his second semester junior year before the new coaching staff was here, and the other one went on to play at Maryville College, in which I don’t believe he had any interest prior to transferring.
