SGC hosts McNairy

Playoff implications for this match up. McNairy is quietly having a great season. The very young SGC is off to a pretty good start as well. The last couple of years the games at McNairy have been barn burner games. I think we will have more of the same this year. I hope we get a cleanly called game. 2 years ago I did not think the officiating could possibly be any worse.... Just needed to wait till the next year.... It was not just bad calls against SGC either. SGC has a QB this year that is molded to run the triple option. They have proven that they can move the ball and make you pay if your defense is 1 step out of position. The Bobcats have a bruiser running the ball. I think this game will come down to the 4th quarter. If SGC win this contest they will only be 1 win shy of a guaranteed home playoff game. If the Bobcats win this game they will be guaranteed a playoff berth. Curious what the T thinks about this one.

I think you win this game. You mentioned you will then be 1 win shy of a home playoff game. You still play Covington and they will rock you. Milan game will be a good one and I think winnable for you. Just my two cents.

I hear ya. I will have a better understanding of what we will look like against Covington after this Friday. I watched the Covington vs McNairy game earlier. The game was  a lot closer than the score board indicated. The chargers were clearly the better team in the second half. To start the second half covington kicked on onside and recovered.... I think that really took the wind out of the sails for the bobcats. The bobcat linebackers were out of position constantly and took themselves out of the play.... Covington also has a really nice throw game. That big dude calling the snaps can really sling it around the yard.

Honestly I do not think it would matter which team was favored by what.... or what their records were. For some reason we always play each other really really close. It always comes down to just a couple of plays.

Congrats bobcats! Well played game. Zero turnovers and made SGC pay for the 3 they had. The front 8 for McNairy is really good BTW. I wish y'all luck going forward.
