Do a little more research on the situation there and see if you still think that. It’s the rock bottom worse situation in Clarksville.

How is it rock bottom the worse?

I’ve been around Clarksville a long time and I would say its not great, but I would not say it’s the worse.

Heck some would say West Creek would be a bad situation since they have never been to the playoffs or Central was a bad situation until this year, since they have only been to the playoffs like twice ever. But I think a good coach can turn around any program with a little time and a good staff and a little backing from the school. Heck Northwest did not look bad talent wise this year, they even beat west creek pretty bad.

Terrible facilities, terrible location, lack of discipline that has been in place for yrs, admin not supportive, etc.

Maybe you should do your research. I’ve seen NW facilites and they have three locker rooms and a huge weight room with a film room and coaches offices plus room to do other stuff.

Discipline is controlled by the coaching staff not the players. I’m sure the admin do not give them the support they need but most Clarksville schools don’t.

If NW gets a good coach I bet they will finish top four in the region with NE, CHS,HC. But we shall see.

    • While I appreciate being credited with multiple accounts, I have to say that is not true. Will you please report back to your people that I am not someone who provides sharp, witty banter, but rather someone who is putting the shoe on the other foot for some people that have been repeatedly bashing others here and in real life for the past few years? Everything that I have stated has been backed by factual evidence or public record, so no need to be sharp and witty.
    • Yes this process is moving slower than I would have expected
    • also was told coady auston applied, he served as defensive coordinator for greenfield under don pitt several years ago before going to Obion county
    • TSSAA restrictions for hiring non-faculty coaches have been removed for over a year at this point. In the past a non-faculty person had to be "grandfathered" by being an assistant coach for five years, being fingerprinted, and having a background check run per TSSAA rules... since those were rescinded, the board of directors for the school district are responsible for any/all restrictions on hiring non-faculty personnel. I guess what I'm saying to you is that if you really wanted what you posted, it's already possible as long as your local BOE will allow for it.
    • stop it, rlh. you’re gonna get me all misty eyed and sentimental.    i see seven fairly regularly. ….but slim shady, that’s like spotting bigfoot on main street. you just hope he doesn’t spot you.
