Humboldt beat them twice last year but you should always want to play the best competition because it only makes your team better! Who knows they might could have won game at home against the Vikings but we’ll never know now!  

I don’t think this decision was made by the coaches. Word is it came from over their head and they had no say so. Crazy I agree, should be up to the coaches you would think. It would’ve  been a great rematch tomorrow, and good for both teams.

Yes, Humboldt was down by 10 at half & 15 points in the 3rd quarter due to Anthony Jones (center) only playing about 4 minutes in first Half due to foul trouble! Humboldt regrouped & pulled in out in the final seconds of the game! It was standing room only in Gym & Haywood guard was on fire, hit about seven (7) 3’s but Vikings kept composure & out scored Haywood 43-32 in second half to get win! Good luck to Haywood the rest of the season!
