croz6110
Outplayed, outhustled, outcoached, outefforted, outcheered, outwatered, outmatched. If you can come up with any other aspect of this game, we got whipped in it. Bottom line...no heart. There's a few that put out the effort, but having only a few do that won't win football games. We have no identity on offense, and defensively we were pushed around.

Sidelinehustler
Not surprised at Gordonsville losing the game. Shocked at the way they lost it though.

dilligaf
At what point do the Gordonsville faithful decide to go outside the family tree to hire football coaches? They decided boys basketball and baseball coaches were not getting it done. I hear year after year how much talent is coming from the junior high and how they should win state titles. Last night was a total mismatch coaching wise. Just wondering???

You cannot do both unless you have Rankins athletes.

croz6110
FWIW, I like our coaches. After talking to them, my son, and other players, effort and execution was lacking. There were some assignments that were not carried out, and there was some heart left in the locker room. We also took some huge hits injury wise. Looks like we lost 4 more starters. We were already starting a few freshmen and playing a few more at times. Those numbers are increasing this week. Bottom line, we got whipped, some can harp on our choice of coaches, most from outside the community, and they shoulder some of the blame, but players have to put out the effort, fill the right gaps, block the right players, and make tackles.
