Which of those two do we match up the best against.  Doesn’t South Side run wing T and North Side go more spread?

Honestly I’m not sure who we match up best with. If I had to guess Hardin and Northside would be the toughest then Lexington. Hardin has a pretty good QB who can throw it if it’s the same kid we saw in 2017. He was just a FR then who played like an upperclassman imo. I expect NS to have speed like we saw last Nov. JS lost key players from last season and they appear to have trouble scoring

From the past I remember Harding running spread, NS spread, Lexington with some kind of wishbone and I can’t remember JS

Hardin Co, to me, is the best team in the west side of the bracket. I know this will draw the ire of the Haywood faithful, buts it’s my honest opinion at this point in the season. They are the most complete team playing right now. No matter how you cut it, they’ve got Portland first round and they will destroy them.

Region 6 as of right now

1. Hardin Co 8-1 (4-0)

2. Lexington 4-5  (3-1)

Northside 5-4 (2-2) and Southside 3-6 (2-2)  play for the 3rd and 4th seed

Thanks Rip abt JNS and JSS. I thought it was decided but you're right, they still gotta play. I typed Haywood (in place of Hardin Co) bc they were on my mind after reading the Commissioner's post and they're not even in that region.

Oh and btw they have a WR #16 that is about 6-4ish 210ish who they like to throw it up to. He muscled the CB for Heritage who was about 5-11 at best the night I saw  them playing. He scored 2 or 3 tds that night. I think #3 is another WR that is shorter but has some wheels and ppl hadn’t been kicking to him much either. 11 is a good RB with good speed along with #7. They play out of the shotgun mostly in a pistol look, totally different from last couple seasons. #2 is the QB who is mobile and he is a good passer and will run it on occasions. Will be a challenge for the Jackets. I feel like we can score pts but can the Jackets make enough stops on defense?

The Jackets have been playing some of their best ball as of late, and they’ll need to continue that trend this Friday night. The defense is going to have to have a great night to stop Creekwood’s balanced offense. Like I said before, to me, the LB play on defense is going to be huge stopping the run and coverage in the pass game. I am glad to see #9 looks like he’s back to full strength and hitting his stride running the ball. I am shocked at the lack of the passing game the past couple of weeks tho. I guess if the running game is working why change, but I do believe the Jackets will need it in this game and going forward this year.

    • And can you tell me who those two quarterbacks were, and every kid that was put into college from Bearden is a Bearden kid? It’s kind of why they graduated from Bearden.   and I would definitely not consider ETSU “waste”…
    • Most of this is complete gibberish. But the one part I could decipher is putting kids in college. This coaching staff hasn’t put a single Bearden kid in college. They completed wasted one of the best WRs in East TN and have ruined two talented QBs. All because they’re in over their heads.
    • Well, I’d hope the new coaching staff thinks they are all that because they can always walk around the school, anytime they want, thinking that, especially for what they’ve done for the student athletes and the players, putting more kids in college in his first season than the old coaching staff did in numerous years combined, but we will just sweep over that because I know you don’t like facts. But trust me, nobody wanted Mr. Big britches, made the star player switch to quarterback, which is ultimately the reason he ended up transferring to play the position. He loved, but unfortunately, had to be at another school because Mr. Big Britches doesn’t like when a teenager knows more than him, but can’t expect much coming from a guy who used all class throwing pencils up into the ceiling and making fun of football kids who were failing class right to their face, and in front of numerous students, even projecting on the board most of the time.
    • After that first paragraph, I can see why you’re a TA and not a teacher. Have you made the move from South Knoxville to Bearden yet?    Maybe he left because he is an actual teacher and coach, and didn’t want to be associated with a group of foul mouthed middle school coaches who like to pretend they’re big time.
    • Yeah and the coach is gone. Whole bizarre situation here. We played them a couple of times at MTSU last few years. She was a player for sure.
