Not so sure about Fayetteville. I think they are losing 21 seniors off the team. They will still be good, but not sure how good. Cornersville is losing some key players, but return most skill positions. I agree that MTP will lose some key guys, but have some talented young guys as well. Huntland is not losing too much that I am aware of. Obviously Reed and a few others, but return a majority of their production. I also agree that MC is returning a ton of guys with valuable game experience and should be a contender. Richland is also returning quite a bit I believe. Could be an interesting 2020 again for sure.

For Fayetteville next year the Senior/Junior/Soph crew didn't lose any in grades 9-12 (undefeated 3 years running) I believe.  That said they did lose some kids to transfers so it will be interesting to see how they stack up.

Well, if we are talking JV and Middle School. MTP was undefeated in both last season with the middle school winning the conference championship.

Sometimes middle school success does not carry over to high school, but I do agree Fayetteville has tons of athletes.  Should be an interesting year.

Very true. Honestly probably often the case.  Schemas and teamwork are much more important at higher levels; less likely 1 or 2 talented individuals can control the game like they can at the younger levels.  And really some kids hit puberty earlier and sorta peak at 13 or 14 and then everyone else just catches up.  But its always fun to speculate.

Much like this year, should be very competitive region with not much separating 3 or 4 of the teams.

    • One of the biggest loosing teams in Mid-State are the Macon County Tigerettes. I have noticed that the roster is smaller than in the years past. All the senior's have quit. We have a great group of Jr High players coming up. I sure hope they don't loose them, like they have lost so many others this year. With this young group of girls coming up, a weaker district, they should have no problem going to State.
    • It was updated this season, because I did it.  Linder is the school's all-time leading rusher at 5,156 yards with 2,436 of those coming in 2014.
    • Oh, I’m sure you did. Maybe you heard just a rumor, but considering we have a football practice field and a soccer field that’s frequently used for lacrosse games and practices, I highly doubt it. Let me change that. I know for a fact that didn’t happen.   Glad you finally stopped attacking a bunch of high school students, but still obsessed with the coaching staff for some unknown reason, even though you could name more than three (at most) coaches without looking it up. But now come up with something else.
    • You really mean the Price twin boys and Lyin Larry.
    • Now that wouldn’t surprise me a bit. That has been going on heavily since the days of Larry Kerr @ AC. One of the major reasons CC has never really had much at all, barring about 2 seasons in football. AC milks it dry.
