It must suck to be you. Trash talk a coach that routinely bought players cleats, gave some money to eat on and drove 2 all the way to Kansas for a visit. Also his offense went to the playoffs 4 straight years. Coach Daniels offense got shut out by Sycamore and his defense got hammered by East Hickman. He put the Nose back to return kicks and a lineman at QB. Terrible coach and a very petty human being. The entire team and parents are glad he's gone. Looking forward to seeing how much better the team will be. 

 

Wes Proctor, great guy and coach,  probably won't be coaching this year. I believe he's expecting another baby. Coach Hobbs will be! 

The players that make it through the summer with Halstead will be ready for football season!

That was my point I tried to state earlier:  They seemed able to compete more early in the season before the changes the last half of the season.  Getting shut out by 2 below average teams is not a go

I hate to hear that Wes will not be coaching but I'm certainly happy for him and his wife on their new addition. 

The Cubs will really improve as the season progresses.  They end the season with region contests against Sycamore and Harpeth in what should be big games for all three of those schools.

We will be better next year because you ain't part of the team no more.  You never gave either of my boys anything and I would not want them to take anything from someone like you.  I'll keep coming to Cheatham games this year and will always be a Cub.  I'll see you in the bleachers also.  Stay away from our boys.  We don't need your kind around here no more.

      And that needs to go, Charter ,private ,magnet,city and any school that operates differently than pure public schools should be separated. What really needs to be done is address urban and rural. About all the usual powers have access to several kids from other schools period.

      Slightly off topic from a gender standpoint but just observed several boys volleyball games in the Knoxville area for a short spring season. The guys seemed to have a great time. There were several club players on each team but several football, basketball and tennis players involved. Knoxville Catholic, Maryville, Heritage, Knoxville West maybe William Blount had teams. Thanks to Coach Brent Carter from Knoxville Catholic/K2 for getting it together. I’m sure the coaches involved got several laughs trying to coach guys that really had no idea what they were talking about but pretty athletic and competitive. Catholic’s best basketball player told the coach he had played a lot of 2:3 and 1:3:1 but never a 3:3 LOL Maybe it will catch on with some more schools next year.
