Ryan had at least one starter out and not sure about Brentwood who might have had someone out as well. The fever/virus has crippled some of the Williamson County schools this week!

From Ryan, Eason and Miller put on a show and Finch from Brentwood won 3-1 in OT.

It would have been nice to see Johnny Mac vs Parker Petersen, but he bumped up to 220 and pinned a first year Ryan wrestler. 

Hindsight is 20/20, but if there was no chance for that match to decide the dual for the Bruins, it would have been nice to see the 195’s wrestle. Johnny Mac and Petersen might have been worth the price of admission!

Skylar Coffey is a beast! Any chance he and James Howard meet up?

Fun atmosphere! Good luck to the Bruins the rest of the year!

Jmac went up to 220 and pinned the Ryan kid.  He didn't go down weight.  That was the Bwood 170 that went up to 182.  Agreed, I can't wait to see JMac vs. Peterson, but hopefully we all get our chance to watch in the Drennan Invitational in a couple weeks.  I hope they are opposite brackets and meet in the final!

Sorry, but no contest with Coffey and Howard.  Coffey is too much for anyone in any division in TN.  I don't think we'll see that match based upon remaining schedules, but they should battle in practice sessions at State!  The internet boards can debate that one for years to come, but the eyes do not lie... no contest.

Some pretty good matches tonight.  Both teams wrestled hard.  Good luck the rest of the way.

Why did the Brentwood coaching staff bump Johnny mac up a weight when there was absolutely no way that Brentwood could win the dual at that point?  It has been reported that this is the second year that Brentwood has bumped to avoid a great matchup.  While FR continue to wrestle this dual if Brentwood refuses to allow the best kids to wrestle?  How do you get good if you don't compete against the best kids?
