Beat a team with twice as many players as we had last night

That could possibly be their best win of the season, against a second year program. They certainly play the easiest non-conference schedule of probably any 6A team in the state with DeKalb Co., Cannon Co. and Lawrence Co. However, with the region they play in and the many years of struggle, I can definitely understand the easy scheduling and they don’t deserve any blame. Wins over Siegel and Coffee Co. could get them to 6 total wins which would be the most in a long time! But it doesn’t mean near as much without a playoff appearance, so the Cookeville game is crucial possibly for 4th place. It would be then that they can hold a parade in downtown McMinnville.

WC is taking one game at time. A win is a win. We are very cable of a 7-8 win season.

7 is a stretch, but 8 is ridiculous. How? You beating Blackman all of the sudden?! Sneaking into that fourth spot is an outside possibility with an upset win over Cookeville, but even that is unlikely. You won’t beat any of the Big 3, and it will not be close. Just telling it like it is. A 6 win season at WC is a “once in a blue moon accomplishment” and that would certainly be something to be proud of.
