Week 1 Haywood @ Henry County

I would assume this game is off since the TSSAA requires three weeks of full contact before a game. That would be a shame.

Practice cancelled til August 10th sheesh prolly won’t even be a game that’s 11 days to prepare

I am very curious if the TSSAA has a rule about minimum practice days before a game in football.  They mentioned 3 weeks of practice with the hybrid plan but I do not know if that is a "rule" per say.

I wouldnt consider it a massive outbreak compared to some of the other counties in Tennessee but we went from 121 cases to 151 yesterday. Idk I guess they are just using caution but...

It really sux when local politics override the lead presented at the State level.   We are seeing that everywhere!  I think it should be the individual families decision to play or not.   If you're one of the concerned, practice distance learning and restrict your child from sports!   Why force everyone to abide by your agenda?

I believe that HC has received an exemption and will pad up on Saturdays and on walk through and this game will be played as scheduled.

While it is obvious that they could use the practice right now why risk more sickness or injury until it is time to get ready for the first game. From what I heard from the media  is that " ALL " HC Athletic programs have been suspended.

@FridayMainEvent from what I have heard and understood we are going to play Haywood. I believe we resume practice Aug. 10th and must have 10 days of practice before playing a game.

So we get to play even though we’re not going to be in school? Sounds good to me
