SHS Jackets vs WH Heritage Pats

It has been said that a team makes the most important improvements between the first game and the second.  The Jackets had a good showing in their opening game vs Wilson Central.  The Jackets are open the second week this year before taking on Region and County foe the  WH Heritage Pats.  Should be a good game. What are your thoughts?

We rotated in some good backs to run the ball.  Gabe Kelly is a dual threat to both run and catch the ball. We have several speedy WR’s.  Hudson was making good decisions  throwing and running the ball against Wilson Central.  Both DL and OL played well. Our coaches have a extra week to prepare.   I am thinking Heritage will need their A-game for a win

I agree. With the weapons and OL/DL we have I like our chances. I was impressed with our young kickers as well. Patriots will give the Jackets their best.

With what I saw last night I do not believe WHH will be able to keep up, but I am sure they will come in well coached and prepared...

I’ll wait until after Friday to talk about this one. I do wish the Jackets could’ve found a replacement for this weeks game, I hate having two weeks off right out of the gate. I will however give my thoughts on the Heritage  vs East game this week. I’m thinking Heritage gets upset by the 2A Indians, the Groves brothers have a coming out party this week on offense and they pull off the upset,

Their due a breakout.  The rivalry game maybe just the ticket to cause it

with the coaching at east i doubt it.

The coaching thing is very true.......wish the Groves’ were at Springfield; with the coaching staff there the sky would be the limit for both of them.
