Heard that Coach Hayworth resigned this morning.  Any truth to this rumor?

DC will have a field day and look to start some momentum going into region play.

If he resigned hate it for kids in middle of season and if he did I hope they hire from outside of the program not from staff within

What in the world is going on up on the mountain??  They are trying to get rid of another school superintendant and now the football coach is quitting mid-season on the players!  That's awful.  Shame on the coach for quitting (if its true) and shame on the school board for always squabbling and firing good people.  Every football hire since they ran off the Bryant brothers has been another step backwards.  Someone needs to get control and demand grown-ups do what's best for the kids.

Hate to hear it whichever side it goes, hope the best for the kids over there and the program.  Couldn't imagine a program dealing with a coaching search mid season.  Also, if he didn't resign it doesn't bode well for the program that rumors like that are out.

 

As far as the game, has Grundy had any success this year?
