Funny thing is I’m the one who called him a hater. I simply did it because he was trying to stir up crap. I never even made a prediction I figured it was going to go one of 2 ways and what happened tonight was one of them. I tell you what we can’t do that again and expect to win another one. Way to many mistakes

Actually last year's Peabody was the best,if you remember everyone on the T said we would have a HUGE drop off this year,maybe we did,maybe we didn't ,no one said Waverly would be good ,but you are !

Lol we don’t have to prove anything by winning state this year. Whatever happens it’s been a great year with 12 wins. Waverly is the one that has to prove themselves against the tide. Js

I called him a hater too.  You are right.  Way too many mistakes.  I'm glad our qb got this one out of the way. Not his best game, but he came through when we needed him most.  Defense wins championships.  I never thought we would score less than 28 points.  Good game plan for McKenzie.  That QB is special.  Number 7 is good also.

Yes their qb is good. I think he is a sophomore too. Yeah it’s hard to believe they gave up almost 50 points to Union city. Their defensive game plan against us was very good. They came out playing their hearts out and we didn’t that can’t happen. I’m going to say practice is going to be tough this week haha

Practice will be brutal.  UC offense gives McKenzie lots of trouble.  McKenzie is very balanced. We needed this going forward.  Can't overlook anybody.  This one felt like Fairley

Yes it was exactly fairley. Penalties almost cost us the game. Same thing with fairley what we had like 2 tds called back in that game I think

 I’m convinced that was first game that kid has ever called. Dude wasn’t old enough to grow a mustache. He needs to go home and read his referee manual and take notes. There were times when they didn’t even know what to do. The spots on the ball were bad very inconsistent

      Coalfield definitely isn't the same team they've had the past few years. They are still the favorites to make it out of their region because of their pitching. They have 1 arm that sits low to mid 80s and 2 other arms that are mid to high 70s with good off speed stuff. If you can avoid their top 3 bats in their lineup then you have a shot to beat them. Their 4-9 hitters are average at best. Wartburg's ace was able to shut them down last week in the game Wartburg won 4-2.

      It is the longest season. Plus, 30 games a year. No Christmas break. I would say basketball is the most time consuming.

      Winfree's senior year was the season she needed to secure more college interest. That opportunity was taken away from her. A lot of false assumptions can be made about what happened and what the options are. Unfortunately, the former coach and administration did not allow Winfree to have due process. A lawsuit was filed for a reason, and it will run its course by people who conduct discovery and take depositions. Unless the parties settle out of court, a lot of the pertinent issues will come to the public surface. The real questions are why was Winfree dismissed from the team, and why the administration backed a coach whom they did not rehire.
