Semis..... Waverly travels to Peabody. What's your thought?

Anyone can win for sure and we definitely don’t need to overlook anyone. I think the tidemen got woke up last night. 
 
 When you guys played trezevant their star d1 running back  cordarrian Richardson didn’t play that game. He had a high ankle sprain. His play was limited in the  championship game too.

Their qb is good he has good quick feet and they have a big back. he isn’t real fast but he is strong. I went to the first riverside waverly game and watched them play.

Thats what I said in another post.  We tend to surge after close calls.  A sense of urgency.

So you can speak on this game from the eye test.  Who is the better team, Peabody or Wavo?

Riversides line play isn’t as good as last year and undersized. The qb isn’t as good as last year. When you guys played riverside the first time the linebackers weren’t shedding blocks. They are down from last year. I’m not trying to take anything away from you guys. Waverly has improved because gc was bad this year and they hung with Waverly. 
 

 

I just want to say for the record that this Milan team in week 14 is light years ahead of the Milan team from week 1. Carry on.....

No doubt but the Milan team in week one is still more talented than anyone waverly has played and didn’t you guys play Lexington like game 2 or 3 ?

No it wasn’t in the first 3. It was 4 or 5.

Peabody       Waverly is a good team better than the way they played at Gc for sure.   If we play like we did against mckenzie with the penalties it could be a close game

We’ve been the underdog all year, this week makes no difference to our boys.  We going to roll in and play our game and try to keep you from playing your game.  Sooner or later Peabody will get beat, maybe we can do it.  We never cracked the top 10 in poles.  We didn’t care.  We were rarely picked to win, we didn’t care.  I’m tired of reading, “but Gibson County played you close” ok we had issues but over came them.  Huntingdon beat us, yep.  We have pitched more shutouts this year than any year I can remember. I didn’t think we would make it to the semis but it’s not what I think, it’s what the boys do on the gridiron. They have been bringing it pretty well.  Making plays, running hard, hitting hard, and grinding wins.  Hopefully we can get two more wins before leaving 2A.
