Rematch from last year but the Cyclones get to make the over 4 hour trip this year.How does this game play out with a chance to play in Cookeville.

I think the Cyclones are going Thursday to Nolensville.

Nolensville regrouped and played the Wildcats tough. Win on a safety! Host a semifinal game. Last hurrah in 4A. The Cyclones got a wake up call tonight. Should be a good game. Looking forward to making the trip.

Its never good for the opposing team if EHS is coming off a close win. This should still be a great game. I doubt travel will be a big factor if EHS goes a day early.

Back in 2014-15 football season (pretty sure I’m right) Marion County traveled up  Thanksgiving evening and stayed in JC and practiced on SHHS field the morning of the game against Hampton. They had extra time for game prep.  Most the players family came when they did. If I were Witten, I’d try and do the same thing. Worked out well for them.  I travel to Nashville a lot work work and I can tell you first hand it’s day and night difference between driving down before than the day of.

I’d be shocked if they stayed just for the fact if we make it back to cookeville we would play at 11 am. I would imagine you almost have to go down the day before for that game.

Was thinking the same thing.  I think you’ll see a day trip made Friday and break the trip up with a stop Or two somewhere.

Surely Elizabethton will travel in Charter Buses which will make the trip easier.Good luck Friday.

Thanks man.  Yeah that’s a long ride on a yellow bus haha.  It’s charter buses from here on,  I’d hope.

Is this the team we beat badly in the championship last year? How does this team compare to last years team? Any superstars? I know they have athletes but are they as good as last years team was supposed to be?

No same team we beat in the semifinals at home last year.  Good athletes and good qb.  Any team left this time of year will be good.  Gotta be ready.
