For someone to blatantly get on here and start attacking people and schools behind a CoachT screen account truly shows that person’s character.  Whoever Sycamore does hire as their next football coach will walk into a great community and work with kids who want to be successful.

Used to be a great place to work and coach. Classroom is probably still good, but athletics is a joke. 

Get this, not only does the school board NOT pay for ANY assistant coaching supplements for football, the DICTACTE the maximum amount a school can pay an assistant football coach even if donations/fundraisers are held to be able to pay assistants!

What a crock of crap from a school system that does not value extra-curricular.

All of this was begun years ago as a threat to get the county commission to increase the amount of money given to schools. The threat didnt work. Since then its been a revolving door of coaches with the exceptions of a couple who live there and have accepted the lunacy.

Harpeth, Cheatham, and Sycamore used to play physical, country boy, hard nosed football and be a threat in the playoffs to make a run. Not anymore. Pitiful now!

He would be a great hire for SHS.  In fact if he were interested they couldn’t possibly find a better option than him and they should hire him on the spot.

Sycamore ain’t been good since Halstead left.  Their last couple of coaches has run the football team in the ground.  Nobody wants to play there and they are sending their kids to local private schools just cause they know how much it sucks.  He would be dumber than you would be to wanna coach there.

Why in the world do parents not get more involved and outspoken to help these coaches out?  They ultimately control the school board and can demand more importance be emphasized on athletics.  Absolute shame for those kids.

I question the principals ability to hire a coach that will stay the course and can do the right things considering the handcuffs put on them by the school board. Track record of hiring, is not to good.
