Ooltewah Coaching Job

I was told that Matt Moody the OC at Bradley was interviewing this week. He's young, energetic, knowledgeable, dedicated, good with the players, hungry for a head coach job. He's been under Floyd who has had a pretty good record against the Owls after Benny left. On the plus side he's not the big name like some of the ones mentioned above no one would have to stroke his ego. Big names aren't always better.

I hear they hired Shannon Williams.  He was the head coach at Ooltewah around 10 years ago and has been the OC at Red Bank for the past couple years.  He seems to be a very knowledgeable guy.

That’s a pretty good hire for the owls. We will see if he can have the same amount of success as last time.

Will be tough. Benny left him set up pretty good last time.

This is probably about the best hire you could hope for, considering it’s Hamilton Co. I might have gone with Shad, if he indeed did apply. Their window of opportunity was during Coach Monroe’s 2nd season, when they were inside the 10 in the final minute of the semifinal game at Smyrna (coached by Shad) down by 5, and couldn’t punch it in. They would’ve won the title game the next week. They made one more semifinal, but were blown out of that one by Oakland. Benny retired, East Hamilton High opened, and the window was closed tight.

Safe hire for ooltewah.  I think there chance for success ends in evansville though
