Marion has an opening on the 10th where the other valley school backed out.  10 minutes away

There has to be a contract to back out of and there wasn't one like there was in 2020.  Furthermore, McChickens avoided Whitwell in 2016, 17 and 18 and would have taken some losses.   Whitwell would play you though because even though I like to give my cousins there a hard time, they have shown they will play anyone.

There was a contract. Coach Pruitt chose to not enforce the buyout of $2500. Coach Pruitt contacted the Whitwell coach and offered to come there to play. Coach Stephenson wanted to play but the principal said no.

Picked up the Mount Pleasant Tigers. Playing at Whitwell. Should be a good game. Zion Christian Academy dropped down to 8 man and left MP needing a game.

I think so. MP moved up to 2A this year agreed going 1-8 last year in 1A. Brand new coaching staff.

Hopefully will be better than he did with the baseball program.  They have some talent in their freshman class.
