Tellico @ Sequoyah

How does everyone see this one playing out? Field  should definitely be wet and sloppy with all the weather.  Sequoyah's field hasn't ever held up well anyway.  Do the Bears get their 3rd straight win vs Sequoyah and send the Chiefs on their way to 30 straight losses? Or do somehow the Chiefs bounce back?

After seeing the Jamboree Tellico's offense looked to be vastly improved over years past. Their defense was improved over what little I saw last year. If the Jamboree was any indication on how their year may go I could see. 35-14 type game with the Bears coming out on top. I know that Sequoyah's coach punished his team for their performance in the Jamboree.

Tellico’s offense looked okay, but without a doubt their offense runs through Hollinghead at Qb, he is great on his feet and his arm is decent.

Looked better than Sequoyah defense. And that's what matters.:thumb:

Didn’t stick around to see sequoyah, but that doesn’t surprise me at all! Basin had a jv game up there last year and played more than half of sequoyahs varsity starters with a bunch of 8th graders and we only lost by a touchdown or two I believe.

    • so the players dad who is a recruiter is now at Oakland?
    • We are optimistic because we will have another great season. You should keep your opinions on your Forrest Rocket board. These kiddos at Marion have had an amazing off season. They are working hard and it is showing. Coach TStark is getting these kids scholarships to get their college for free. Also Coach Harm is back so this is another awesome thing for our kiddos. Forrest will get theirs when they come to Bill Baxter Stadium this season. My main men Sam, Tay and Tilton are going to do amazing things this season. You should just watch and see what these kiddos are capable of doing. The Marion County Warriors are a force to be reckoned with again this year. East Robertson will be a good team again but that is the only big challenge this team will have again. If we can beat East Robertson like I know we can then we will go to the state championship and win the game. As always it is a great day to be a warrior. Go Warriors! We are Marion!
    • The player is only able to go because of the coach who is his dad. The dad is a recruiter not a good coach. HC blamed him for losing the Clinton game in the playoffs.
