Cleveland @ Macminn

Both teams coming off big this past week. This is no longer a region game but still a big rivalry. I don’t know much about mcminn this year. What’s yalls predictions?

I think Cleveland takes this one. McMinn they did win in a shutout against McMinn Central but Cleveland is nothing like McMinn Central.

It’s always hard to go to mcminn and beat them and their refs too lol. It better be a blowout because if it’s close at the end your in trouble.

That is true make sure it isn’t close because the refs will do their best to make it close.

Haha u two clowns are funny. Rhea Co is the worst place in the state to have to play against the refs and Cleveland is a close 2nd. Will it be like last years 42-7 mercy rule? No but McMinn still takes it. Go Kees!!!!

Based on the  scrimmages and 7 on 7, I believe Cleveland wins this one. No disrespect to McMinn, but they are down this year.

Thought Cleveland left some points on the board against Red Bank. I know McMinn lost a lot last year, and Cleveland is probably a little better than they were last season, so should be a close game.

I think it'll be a close one this year.  Cleveland's offense looks to be pretty darn good this year.  How do you guys feel about your defense?  I didn't get to see much in the way of highlights from the Cleveland/Red Bank game.

Defense was solid all game. Held Redbank to zero pts at half. Secondary is very athletic and the best it’s been in years. Linebackers are solid with the return of Leo Peoeli and Tito back there. Defensive line is undersized but tough. They are much improved. I think we win but playing in Athens will be tough

Thought the defense was much better than our offense. Although I think our offense has the potential to be pretty good.

Red Bank has been very athletic over the past couple of years, so to shut them out the first half is pretty impressive. McMinn QB is a solid player, but if secondary for Cleveland is solid and LB can eye the QB, I feel Cleveland can come out on top.
