Unaka @ Jellico

Anyone from maybe Cloudland or North Greene have an idea of how we may match up considering you’ve played both teams? Would really like the Rangers to get this one, the loss to Twin Springs was hard to swallow after being up 24 in the first half. Our D-Line and linebackers have to start getting some penetration, noticed last night we pretty much just stand straight up on D when the ball is snapped, we don’t initiate the contact.

NG played Jellico last night and gave up two touchdowns very early on kickoff and punt. Other than that the game was 3 TD to 3 TD. IMO Unaka is much better because of their athletes and QB play. Jellico has three kids that make them go. 3,24,&9, they will struggle to defend the pass and I think Unaka matches up better against them than teams that like to line it up and run it right at them. If Unaka shows up, I could see them winning by 10-14.

Good news is jellico is just as bad on D as you guys.  I think it's pretty even. Hard to make a call on this one

Seen you guys hang 62 on them while only giving up 20. :thumb:

    • West would be a good team to get behind if they can pull it off again like last year. That championship game last year was awesome.
    • I say that because he stepped out of a MUCH better situation on his own than he would see at least his first 3 years at DCA and it would take at least that much to bring him back to coaching. There are other fish in the sea, but again money talks. Need to fix the girls hoops too. Now I'll try again. Who has Pierce locked in for his staff? Hearing a McGavock man but not the Iceman.
    • I’ve heard mostly good things from the gridiron. Lots of optimism. It sounds like the portal has mostly helped, though there are a few expected defections. Comeback year!
    • Rudesell 1 year at Crockett. Coach Tate 2 weeks a Bradford. South Gibson supposedly going with jcs middle school coach. Which isn’t who I thought would get it, I know the top 2 was between him and Obion girls head coach.
    • Looks like Trent Noah was released from his NLI at South Carolina with intent to pursue playing closer to home. Kentucky and Louisville both reported to be in the mix for him now.
