Westmoreland Host Portland For Season Opener

I’m not trying to be snarky, but how does everyone think Westmoreland goes from 3-8 last year to world beaters this year?

I wouldn't consider them world beaters if they beat Portland....

Not to mention, Westmoreland does a great job of eating clock on offense, which shortens the game. It's very hard to blow someone out if they keep the ball out of your hands for most of the game. Not impossible, just very difficult.

Todays the day! Portland is a little better than I have been giving them credit, and much better than last years team but I think Westy will be too. I think it comes down to line play. PHS line looks big and they are very physical. Can the Eagles pull this upset tonight on the kitty cats? Where is Posty when you need him!

7-0 Eagles going into halftime. Portland has shot their self in the foot with several penalties, Westy also had a touchdown called back on a hold call 60 yards on the other side of the field… not sure about that one, excited to watch the film and see if we were really holding…
