Copper Basin @ Polk County

There’s been very little conversation about this one over the off-season.. What are the thoughts on this one and how does Polk County look this year?

I think with DD being back this is a rough hard nose game 35-7 Polk and they carry on to have a better year this year that McWilliams kid #12 is their best player and should help more on defense this year

The stache being back in town will definitely add another element to the game that Polk County has lacked the past couple of years and that would be physicality. I’ve never seen a soft DD coached team. The McWilliams kid is special, if he can stay healthy I see them being Atleast .500 this year.

I thought Polk looked like one of the best teams at the Jamboree. They will be hard to beat.

Haven’t got to see Polk in action at all, I figured they’d look pretty decent this year.

Is it true that Basin's roster is only about 20 players this year?

If Polk doesn’t dominate this one, we are in for a long season. We had double the amount of players watching from the sideline as Copper Basin has on the whole team. After seeing our scrimmages and the jamboree last week, I’ll take the wildcats by as many as they want. Go Cats!

Yeah this year is a down year on the numbers and next year will probably be worse hopefully the new staff figures it out

Yeah it’s true, numbers are way down. I commend all the boys who are out there working hard and still playing. It’s going to be a tough year, we are used to iron man football but not quite to this extent! We have some talent just no depth!

Me too just not a lot of freshman that’ll play next year and we have 7 seniors this year so

14-0 Polk end of the first. McWilliams hasn’t even had to do anything.
