LA vs Milton

I think milton has been posting some trash talk in a fun way.  I think it will be a good match up.  strong D on both sides.

45-27 Lipscomb. I think Lipscomb matches up well physically and at the skill positions with Milton. Milton does have a better run game and more depth. Going to be a good match up tonight.

its on flosports.  watching thompson vs buford right now.  thompson (LA's next opponent) was down 7-0 at half...

final was 17-7.  my thoughts...

LA can be better than last year but needs be consistent.  Q1 looked amazing on offense, then it's like the play calling changed.  defense is really good.  special teams are a concern as milton's only score came on a kick off return with lots of missed tackles.  on to thompson...

Agree…LA offense will put up big numbers this year.  I get what Trent tried to do last night…up 17-0, but could’ve backfired. Defense is scary good though. Not sure Milton had 200 yds of offense last night and that may be the best offense LA plays all year.

yeah, I was guessing he was trying to not give too much film and show his cards but you're right.  was risky.  their offense found a little rhythm but our D...dang they stepped up.  edwin and kaleb are legit and only juniors.

Impressed with LA defense. On offense, it was a total horizontal passing game. Screens and passes to the flat. Is o line a concern? Didn’t run much and no downfield passing game to speak of. Seems like talent is there to open it up more unless o line is weak. Milton adjusted after first few drives and LA only had a FG after that.
 

still a good win although Milton is nowhere near what they were last year. Lost two power 5 OL, one signed with Tennessee. RB signed with UCF. Can’t remember where QB went. 5 star DL Overton reclassified and signed with Tex A&M. Milton doesn’t reload and only has a good team every 4-5 years. Last year would have been a much better match up and Milton likely wins. 
 

top GA team buford drilled Thompson 34-7 so we will see how that game goes next week. And then LA will spank remaining opponents badly.
