I think this one will be much closer than most people think.

Knox West gets the win however.

I see running clock number 8 out 12 for the Rebs.  I believe the "starting" defense has given up 75 pts in 11 games, an avg of just under 7.  And those points came against Bearden, Farragut, Alcoa and Murvill, Central got 3 on the starters too.  That Central FG avoided a total shutout of region teams.  I just don't see Mo. W. finding any points against the 1's.

Greenville beat MoWest by a trickle. Greenville is better than West. If that MoWest team shows up they win by a 1/4 trickle.

West would beat Greeneville THIS year. I do believe it would be close but after seeing both play, I believe West would win. Only year that would or could happen for awhile.

Alright Vil, I'll take the bait for the sake of getting more people to respond. With your comment are you also saying Greeneville is better than Alcoa and Maryville? I think it would be a good game, but I can't see that Greeneville would beat West.

Possibly Dawgs. On any given Friday night it is possible.

I guess it is possible, but I think this West team will have to beat themselves, to me they've proven themselves to be the best in the east. And I'm not a West fan, just a "good high school football" fan.

Looks like weather should be clearing up by kickoff...its football anything can happen but I truly believe this Knox West team has a great group of seniors who are focussed and want that trophy.

One day until kickoff.

Go Rebels!

Just looked this up.

Carter held them to one touchdown.  Not sure if that was a special case, but I'd be stunned if they scored two in this game.

Well in fairness, Carter's coach takes to Twitter when the offense doesn't have the ball so the kids are basically coaching themselves.

    • They’re building something special there. They have 4 Varsity games scheduled & 5 JV. They are trying for a 5th Varsity game. Beat them now because they will be good in the future. They are building a football field there I think but the rich pricks of Farragut won’t let them get lights so they are possibly looking at property to build a stadium & field with lights

As for the prospective successor to the coaching helm, the mention of esteemed mentor Nick Saban's absence prompts a discerning hesitation towards alternative candidates, for excellence is the sole criterion deemed worthy of emulation.  Pray, may I inquire as to your esteemed identity?
