Whoever they hire will be successful because the core of kids they return. They’ll have a good team next year, regardless. The support is only skin deep. Any adversity and admin will tuck tail and run. The fact they named an interim is telling. I don’t expect this to go much farther than that.

I'm not sure what the deal is over at MTCS, but on the outside looking in, it seems the commitment from administration isn't where it needs to be. Providence and Webb both seems to open the checkbook when needed and both athletic departments are trending upward.

They had the big money support from the Throneberry's when Shad was there.

Wonder if they will get other kids in now? The offense was difficult to defend for sure. Not sure if they change their offense how successful they will be and didn’t they lose a ton of starters?

Offense will look much the same, did lose a couple good players from that side. Defense should be as good as last year even with the loss of 4 starters.

Should be interesting to see how it shakes out with your opener vs Columbia Academy who returns almost everyone. IMO they are a legit contender. The South Pitt game will be a challenge too.

The East is there to be had for you guys. The same can be said for JCS in the west.

DCA had the eventual state champion on the ropes and lost in OT. The young freshman and sophomore starters for DCA grew up after starting the year with a loss to you guys that they wish they had back. The middle has the two of the most talented players in the state overall (D1 and D2) in the sophomore class and both will be huge for their NCS and DCA programs.

Should be a fun year watching each matchup. Best of luck to you guys.
