Scrimmage result - Peabody vs Covington?

So, I understand that there was a scrimmage between Peabody and Covington last Thursday, May 11. I missed it, and I have not heard a report on the outcome. Does anybody have details?

I was informed that the Chargers held their own scoring 5 TD's and allowed 0.

Look Peabody lost 20 plus seniors which in 1A/2A is a huge loss.  I think if they make the playoffs in the region they are in it will be a really good season.  I expect them to battle Adamsville for the 4th playoff spot.

No problem! I sure hope the Chargers have another successful season and make a deep run or even a trip to Chattanooga! I have no idea what they return. Any info?

We lost several key seniors including AC Mason-Young at LB/ DB and Jamarion Dowell at RB. The good news is that QB Braden Gover is back for his senior season, along with outstanding placekicker Gabe Wellentin. Also back is junior RB Skylan Smith, who piled up lots of yardage as a sophomore last season. 
 

I’m sure coach Kirby will field a competitive squad that will be a factor in Region 7-3A.  I don’t have a lot of info, but I expect us to be competitive.

Awesome! One thing is for sure, the Chargers will nearly always be competitive!
