Obion Central at Lake Co

Central travels to LC and think it will be a close game.Central seemed to put a running back at QB based on what I saw in Jamboree.Depth could be a problem for LC.Think they have 26 players.Going with LC by a couple scores.

I have no idea what OCCHS brings this year, but they are going to miss Johnny Light. He was a wrecking ball. I'll pull for 1A Lake, but I'm definitely watching to see how this goes. We get Lake before Obion, but play both.

Secondly, why the low player count at Lake? Just curious

It's always about 25 to 30.Not  but about 220 students.Half maybe females.Some may not play sports.So not much to really choose from

Haven't played ya'll in a few years. I guess I still remember your last Championship team that had such player size. I didn't pay attention to how many there were.

Think this game will be close for a half but OC pulls out the win. With sheer number of players getting rested by mainly playing one side of the ball. Hard on LC's players playing both sides all night against a school that size.

We did it last year against oc with practically the same number of teams, what's changed? LC for many years have played iron man football and you can see the results of that by visiting 300 Cochran Street tiptonville,TN and looking at our trophy case lol. Ps, some trophies and plaques are in the office due to the trophy cases being full.

Yes it is pretty impressive for such a small school.State championships,runner-ups and even Gold Ball in basketball.

Didn't say you cant do it. Just saying IMO OC gets the win.

I pick Lake Co because of the skill positions.  But my son goes to OCChs so go Rebels!  If they can slow the game down, maybe they stop the speed.  Hope both teams stay healthy!
