Calvin Mullins rushed for a,school record of 416 yards tonight against Halls. He scored 5 tds and converted 4 2 pt conversions. He rushed for 323 with 6 tds and 5 2pt conversions last week. He had 265 rushing vs Dresden. He also rushed for 168cagainst Dyersburg and  165 I believe against Obion Central. The kid is a tremendous back. He has rushed for quality yards vs 3 really good teams and put really big numbers the last 2 weeks. He is a workhorse also toting the football 43 times tonight, 41 times last week and 38 times vs Dresden. He has rushed for 1,337 yards in five games and scored 17 tds and over a dozen 2 pt conversions. The kid is having a very special season. If the Falcons were 5 and 0 or 4 and 1 he would be mentioned in 1A Mr. Football conversation. He has to be among the state leaders in the rushing and scoring departments.

Thanks for the stats! I’ve said put him on any other team and he’s a candidate. Just to mention he rode his bike 8 miles to work one way to help his family out! Yes rode a bicycle 16 miles round trip to sack groceries. Really a true underdog story

Yes, his story is truly amazing. Wish more people knew about this young man on and off the field.
