Come on, man, you’re just sounding silly now, and yes, Bearden has always been a basketball school and probably will continue to be that, and it has always produced absolute stud football players and continues to do so, as you can tell just by looking at our roster. I don’t understand why people are mad because Coach Jones is keeping the players and stopping them from moving where to play football when they can go to Bearden High School, which is the school their zone for, and play. Maybe people don’t like that, or maybe it’s just some schools who have always reached into the system to get their hands on some players, and that makes them mad. With Murville, Cleveland, Oak Ridge, Farragut and Bradley coming up. So if they win all five games they are 8-2. If they win 4/5 they are 7-3. Most likely is 3 out of 5 to be 6-4. They could end up 8-2 or 5-5. Let's watch it play out and then decide how good of a coach he is. Was he only doing Peewee or was he helping them(on staff to get players). So the RB from Gallatin just randomly picked Bearden to move to? There wasn't any other better schools to choose from in the Knox area? When he was already committed to play D1 P5 ball? Powell is struggling for sure. Any team that makes them have to throw the ball they lose to. Funny how that happened to be right after Jones' great recruiting class of QB & WRs are gone. Eventually Jones is going to go to greener pastures at some Private school, then Bearden will be back to middle of the pack football team. Enjoy it while it last. A guilty person will never say you're wrong or right, they will just say show me the proof. Another thread someone was talking about text messages. I wish they would post them just because I want to see them. TSSAA can't do anything about it. They don't have the resources to go about it.
