MJGOLDENBEARS
Ah this was relieving. Watching the Green Hill clowns lose tonight. 1

thegreatone36
This game just never felt close. Gallatin had a 45+ yard TD called back in the 3rd qtr called back on a pitch around the corner. Green Hill was mad about calls all night but ended up having the best call of the night…. GWAVE1
Great job by the Gallatin defense and those defensive backs for shutting down Mattingly and setting the tone on some big bone jarring hits. 3 interceptions on the night. The Gallatin defense has grown up and really progressed over the year. Green Hill had no answer for big Brinkley running the ball. He never had any big huge gains but those steady 4, 5, and 6 yards took their toil. Jackson faced constant pressure during the game but made some good throws. One of the “talking points” by social media was that Green Hill was going to shut down Williams and I would say that happened but Gallatin turned to McMurray and the big man responded. This was good game for Gallatin and they turned up the physicality on the Hawks and it showed. Stroup is turning this team to be a very tough team to contend with. They can still get better but the direction is clear.

Program definitely seems to be headed in the right direction. 1
thegreatone36
Green Hill still has a good team, I could see them easily finishing no worse than 8-2. Gallatin got conservative in the 4th, but did run some clock. Overall happy with their effort and performance. The first drive of the game was the best. Big drive right before half to get 3 points on a drive that was executed in just over a minute. Good blocking, good decisions by our QB, hard running by RB & nice Y.A.C. & solid catches made by the wideouts. Defense was swarming to the ball well. Secondary had great coverage. 3 picks, all clutch. D line made it home a couple of times as well. Kicker was on tonight. Kickoffs, FG's & punts all looked up to his own standard.
