I did not know you were a coach and was just coaching up your team on Facebook…..silly me, I thought you were just a fan, you know like the guys, some who like to discuss football, poke fun at other teams, and so on.

What are you talking about? Coaching up my team on Facebook? I'm not on Facebook and I was making the statement of basically throwing in the towel like Rebelfan is on the upcoming game. I think it will be a close game. We have a shot playing at home. Our receivers are really good and Dyersburg secondary is below average.

This is definitely the worse Westview team in a few years and I'll be more realistic and say I don't think they are ready for Dyersburg or maybe even Covington for that matter. We play a bunch of freshmen and sophomore and this team will probably be more dangerous a year or 2 from now but I am proud of the fight they have showed after losing close games to Dresden and OC. 

I love Martin. One of my first assignments after coming back to Dyersburg was in Martin. Some of my most cherished sideline photos came from that night. The crew at Westview and Martin Middle have always been great to me. And I can’t say enough about Paul and Vic. While the two of them are icons in broadcasting they have been so kind and welcoming to me over the years. I’m really looking forward to my visit on Friday.

It isn't my job to get the kids ready for next weekends game. I'm a fan and this is a site for fan discussions not preemptive battle cries to pump yourself up or whatever it is you do. Ive watched this same group of kids for 4-5 years now. They aren't a bad team but they are down compared to the last couple years for sure. They will be a force in the next 2-3 years tho I beleive. Sorry it's not all rainbows and butterflies in my post but I said what i said.
