The Pioneer of West Carroll Football passes away (RIP)

Recommended Posts

Malcolm Pendergrass Jr. passed away September 15. A native of Huntingdon, Coach Pendergrass had coaching stints at Towers HS in Atlanta, Harriman, and Huntingdon before ultimately joining a young program called West Carroll. Even though WC had a team for 6 years prior to Coach Pendergrass arrival WC had never won a game, had a field, or fieldhouse. Coach got to work on all that and brought us our first fieldhouse, football field, and win. Words can't describe how important this man was to our community not only in athletics but as our senior English teacher for many years. He was also our Athletic director when he retired.

Rest in Peace Coach you were a good one!
